CadmiumCD has been busy this year improving their products and adding new features to make managing your event’s technology solutions easier than ever. From text styling to training missions, here’s a look at some recent improvements that streamline event management.

Visuals are Important

Having an easy-to-read mobile app is extremely important. If your schedule and exhibit hall hours are difficult to navigate and attendees can’t find information quickly and easily, it affects their entire experience at your event. You want important info like hours and locations to jump out at an app user instead of making them hunt it down.

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology chose CadmiumCD for their Annual Conference and took advantage of a great feature available in both the standard and pro levels of the eventScribe® mobile app. APIC used color styling options to highlight the exhibit hall’s hours as well as to make supplemental information more easily visible. The exhibit hall’s opening hours were in green and closing hours in red, so attendees could see the hours for each day at a glance.

Quick and Easy Search Function

CadmiumCD has added a powerful new search feature that’s available across its entire product family. myCadmium Omni Search makes it so much easier to find data across all of the CadmiumCD products that you’re using for your event. For example, if you search for a name, Omni Search will find all instances across all of the products associated with your event. It will let you know the events associated with that name and the last time that user logged in, and administrators can go directly from the search results to the dashboard for that event or to the user’s profile.

This is extremely useful because it allows users who manage multiple apps or have many scorecards to quickly and easily find users and information across all the products that they use. myCadmium Omni Search is a multi-event, multi-module searching tool to find what you need without having to guess where to look.

myCadmium Training Missions

CadmiumCD has introduced training missions to our clients to help them learn how to use our products. After the initial call with your product manager teaching clients about the Harvester®, the manager assigns you a mission that gives you access to training materials so you can quickly go to the next step. Depending on the products you’ve chosen to use, your training mission might include introduction videos for the Education Harvester® or eventScribe®. Once you’ve watched a video, you earn points that you can then use to issue urgent boomerangs.

Training missions help you engage with our training system and let you do the training at your own pace. Your project manager is there to help you with any questions you might have about the products you’ve chosen for your event.

Tick Tock: Scorecard Countdown Timer & Data Flagging

The American Congress of Gastroenterology chose to make use of CadmiumCD’s Scorecard Countdown Timer. The timer shows up at the bottom of users dashboard and help give a sense of urgency to users to see the numbers ticking down to a deadline. ACG is expecting 5,000 poster submissions for their event, so it’s important to encourage submitters to engage with the system and submit their materials before the last minute.

ACG’s poster system is complicated, with thirty-five custom reports. There’s a lot of data to manage, and the earlier users submit their poster, the easier it is for ACG’s managers to flag submissions. CadmiumCD’s ePoster Gallery in eventScribe® gives you the option to flag entries as red, yellow, or green. You can choose what you want each color to represent, and the simple flagging system is very helpful when you have a lot of reports to process.

Wrapping Up

Managing the data for a large event can be very stressful and difficult, which is why CadmiumCD is continually working to improve their products and add new features. We want to make challenging tasks easier on our clients, and being able to quickly search all your data or engage your users with the app more easily go a long way in saving time and stress for an event manager.
